Wormwood is a perennial herb up to a meter tall with light yellow flowers, a strongly branched stem and leaves bipinnately compound and of light gray or greenish-white colour. It originates in Europe, Asia and North Africa. The plant has quite a few medicinal properties, but it should be used with caution, as it also contains toxic thujone.
Wormwood essential oil is obtained by distilling the whole plant. It is used for raising or lowering blood pressure, treats gastrointestinal diseases, helps with bloating and dizziness, and relieves menstrual pain.
10ml of black pepper essential oil is dosed in a beautiful packaging made of myron glass, which protects the oil from harmful sunlight for a long time. Only an invisible spectrum of sunlight is allowed inside, which allows the molecular structure of the oil to be preserved.
