Lemongrass is a tall, fast-growing, aromatic herb native to the tropical regions of Asia. Its leaves grow up to 40cm and are 2cm wide. It has been used in Ayurveda for many years to reduce fever, treat the gastrointestinal tract, prevent infections, relieve infections and strengthen the immune system. It is also excellent as a natural repellent.
Lemongrass essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of its shoots. The oil has a strong lemony smell that repels insects in the room, and is also suitable for disinfecting kitchens, bathrooms, floors and indoor air. Lemongrass gives us our optimism back, increases vitality and clears the mind.
