Berryshka is a family business run by the Kenda family from Šentvid pri Stični. Their story dates back to the 1990s, when Jože and his son Samo Kenda rented the then crumbling and abandoned distillery on the outskirts of the primeval forest of Kočevje, in the small village of Obrh near Dolenjske Toplice.
They started producing essential oils, especially juniper essential oil, which remains the main product to this day. After two decades of hard work, they wanted to create something extra, something unique. And the idea of Berryshka was born in the distillation room of the old distillery.
