Berryshka is a family business run by the Kenda family from \u0160entvid pri Sti\u010dni. Their story dates back to the 1990s, when Jo\u017ee and his son Samo Kenda rented the then crumbling and abandoned distillery on the outskirts of the primeval forest of Ko\u010devje, in the small village of Obrh near Dolenjske Toplice.<\/p>\n

They started producing essential oils, especially juniper essential oil, which remains the main product to this day. After two decades of hard work, they wanted to create something extra, something unique. Juniper brandy was the first to be created, followed by BrinGin and the first Slovenian gin \u2013 Berryshka London Dry gin. Later, the brandies were joined by six fruit liqueurs, and today the offer includes twelve products. Including the one an only juniper brandy aged in oak barrels. All alcohol products have received high recognitions at international quality competitions.<\/p>\n

Jo\u017ee’s daughter Zdenka joined the production after a few years, adding the final touch to Berryshka by creating a number of chocolate products \u2013 from pralines to chocolate cups.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The distillery is renovated today, it includes a chocolatier and a caf\u00e9 with a terrace and a small shop that offers all Berryshka products, essential oils and disinfectants of the BF brand and homemade products from Jo\u017ee’s corner.
