We are one of the largest juniper producers in Slovenia, as we produce hundreds of tons of juniper per year. Juniper berries have been the main raw material in our distillery since 1990, when the distillery was rented by the today’s owners, Jo\u017ee and his son Samo Kenda. Since then, they have been engaged in the production of juniper essential oil, which later led to the production of brandies.<\/p>\n

A portion of top-quality juniper berries in not intended only for our own use today, but also for sale. Modern technology enables us to pick out best-quality juniper berries from the juniper transported to us from the Balkans. They are sorted by size, colour and shape.<\/p>\n

Due to the diversity of the types of juniper berries and the different purposes of use, we offer you our professional assistance when deciding which type to choose. Digital optical selector<\/strong> is a device that uses high speed cameras and compressed air to extract berries in a selected color shade and the corresponding shape. This ensures the homogeneity of berries without any admixtures, for the most demanding customers.<\/p>\n

Berry cleaner<\/strong> is a device that cleans berries of unwanted impurities, such as juniper needles, twigs, dry berries, insects, dust\u2026 using sieves of various diameters and air, and sorting them according to their size.<\/p>\n

The mill<\/strong> crushes the berries into fine granulation, suitable for the extraction of essential oil, brandy, soap, peeling\u2026<\/p>\n

Drying<\/strong> of juniper berries takes place in the drying room and ensures drying up to a moisture content level suitable for various applications. The storage of juniper berries takes place in a regulated and clean warehouse, with constant supervision and prevention of access to potential pests.<\/p>\n
