1. Selection of juniper berries<\/h3>\n

We use a device called a selector to thoroughly clean the juniper berries and remove everything we don’t want in our drinks: insects, juniper needles, dry and green berries\u2026<\/p>\n

2. Grinding juniper berries<\/h3>\n

The best berries are ground in a mill, they then fall through the shafts straight into the copper steels where the distillation begins.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

3. Extraction of essential oil<\/h3>\n

The essential oil content is removed from the berries by steam distillation that takes several hours in copper steels. Distilled berries are then transferred to fermentation tanks, we add spring water from the primeval forest of Ko\u010devje and special yeasts.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

4. Fermentation<\/h3>\n

We leave the mixture of berries, yeasts and water in the fermentation tank for about a month. Yeasts during this time turn sugar into alcohol. The process is completed under the controlled temperature and with careful and regular checks while yeasts change all the sugar into the alcohol.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

5. Distillation<\/h3>\n

Making juniper brandy is a demanding and time-consuming process that requires not only precision, but also a lot of knowledge, many years of experience and the right touch. The alcohol produced by the yeasts is distilled several times, which gives the juniper brandy its purity and velvety taste. Finally, it is diluted to be drinkable. Only then is the juniper brandy ready for bottling.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

6. Manual bottle filling, capping and labelling<\/h3>\n

The bottles are manually cleaned, filled, closed and labelled at the bottling plant. The bottles are then placed into transport cartons, cartons on pallets, and the pallets then travel across Slovenia to the stores.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
